Bringing society into the next industrial revolution
The Rhodes Centre for History and Social Research designs and conducts Research & Development projects with real impact on humans, communities and culture.
Multifaceted, Interconnected and Ever-expanding, the Rhodes Project SCE develops its activities in four closely connected dimensions:
- Research and Development projects with special focus on social sciences and humanities is the primary field of operation
- Organisational and operational support of public and private entities, projects and individuals
- Outreach and communication of academic projects and research results
- Cultural events and audience development
All this through the lens of the Social Economy, which the Rhodes Project is a proud part of.
The Rhodes Centre for History and Social Research (Rhodes Project - RP) is a research centre established in 2013 on the island of Rhodes, Greece. The Rhodes Project specialises in research within Humanities and Social Sciences, with a particular interest in Digital Humanities. Bringing together researchers, data and sources, the Rhodes Project fosters scientific analysis, evaluates and highlights the social impact of their studies and provides a unique reference point for social research in Rhodes. Innovation, including social innovation, is also one of the main goals of the Centre.
