Objective: To examine the contours of diversity on the island of Rhodes.
The multicultural society of Rhodes, with the long co-existence of Christian and Muslim communities, has recently witnessed waves of new Muslim refugees and immigrants. This combination provides a unique setting for analysing and deconstructing diversities, with a view to developing integration policies.
This research project was supported by the European Economic Area through the Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 and the Program "Academic Research in the Priority Sectors/GR07". It was also co-funded by Greece under the supervision of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.
UnDRho research project was delivered by the Department of Primary Education of the University of the Aegean, under the supervision of the Associate Professor Dr Panagiotis Kimourtzis.
